they are a damned good shifter...i love mine...the dent will not hurt anything and if you complain about parts missing and its just a NUT you can get at home depot..then thats being a little bit freakin picky...the guy is offering a decent deal on a damn good shifter...either buy or don't but quit harassin him...and no i am not a moderator...
