Well I figured out what went wrong with my factory monsoon system...the amp is toast. I plugged in my brothers amp from his WS6 and my stereo came back to life. So now I need to find a monsoon amp for my SS....any ideas what these things cost, or where I should look?...I need new front door speakers too, I dont know if I am best to just source some stockers?..or throw in the alpines I have in my garage....(In the past when I have put aftermarket speakers in they sound like ****, but I dont know why)..Kind of a stereo newbie. Any advice??

Thanks daniel I think I have one local...if not, I'll make an offer. What do you guy sthink of the door speaker replacement?...Can I just put in and aftermarket one,?..Will it sound ok?

Your right most aftermarket speakers sound like crap. Depending on the power of the amp you want to buy I would run components. Go to onlinecarstereo.com. I bought my hi fonics components for 60 bucks a pair. DO NOT USE THEM WITHOUT AN AMP..trust me.
