Indy- F-bodies, Meeting, hanging out, general info... I wanted to make a thread so that all of us in indy could post up what was going on. Hopefully we can keep this thread at the top and maybe get more f-bodys to come through and hang out.

F-body cruise in - Sunday Aug 26th @ Raymond st Drive In off of Raymond St on the SE side of indy. 1pm to 4pm.. Come on out!

well the only downside to college is not having my car 
I cant wait until I can cruse again,
but something awesome is my neighbor is letting me keep my car in her garage for free back home, now thats a deal

Ok everyone this is the info if your interested.... The place is EDWARDS DRIVE IN Located @ the North-West corner of East Raymond St. and South Sherman. If you have any ?'s LMK. It is from 1pm to 4pm like Jeff said in the first post. If you take I65 to the Raymond St. Exit head east for a few miles. I believe it is 7 stop lights from the interstate. When you come to Sherman make a left and 50 feet on the left hand side is Edwards Drive In. Hope to see everyone out there. By the way this is a 50's style restaraunt so food is there if you wish to buy some. They have a wide variety from corn dogs, grilled cheese, pork tenderloins, cheeseburgers, etc...... Please come on out and show off your cars.... JAMES

Yeah they do have some awesome food.....thats why I figured that would be a good place for a meeting. Please pm me if you plan on going so I can let management know how many people are planning on attending. Even if we only have 10 or so it's still something to do on Sunday

Alright now this is what I'm talking about. So far we have a good little group thats coming down to hang out....I'd say between 15-25 people say they'll be there; I'm hoping so. And yes anyone who wishes to come is more than welcome. So far it is mostly just all f-body's, but a few of my friends are coming in other cars (couple Mustang's,a Charger, C6 Vette, etc etc etc) We just don't want a bunch of ricers showing up with their fart cans and getting us all kicked out.....But if any of you would like to come down and show off your cars we'll be more than happy to let ya hang out there. Management already said it would be ok. Just if anyone was wondering. But as long as some of us buy something they wouldn't have a problem. Even a coke or ? Not saying everyone has to buy food/drinks but just a few. Hope to see everyone on Sunday. If anyone has any ?'s feel free to call my cell @ 317-701-3026 JAMES

Next Level: thats what I've been trying to do for a few months, but believe it or not It's pretty hard to get everyone together and to get new members. Everyone seems to either be in the process of building their cars, working too much, or just too busy to keep a crew together. But I do have a car club with about 15 members so far. But getting everyone together is always a task in itself. Thats kinda the reason for doing this car show, so we can meet new people and hopefully get another Indy club started. If your interested just LMK when you move here and we'd love to have you join our club. We're actually calling the club South Side Muscle b/c thats where we hang out on the weekends (on the south side of Indy) But we was thinking of maybe calling it Indy Muscle or Indy musclecars or something of that nature....we'll see what happens.

not necessarily making another fbody group, just trying to get as many people together.. We had a really good turn out about a month ago. There were like 12 or 13 of us that were cruising around the south side..

Yeah that was pretty sweet huh JEFF! Hey did you get Ronnie's car tuned today?? Oh and me and Ray from Whiteland are trying to put a club together, but we'll see what happens. We're thinking of some type of events, cruise in's, and other meets, and things that could help get a crew started....We'll see what happens though! Hoping tomorrow it doesn't rain and the track is open....I'd like to take the formula out to see what it'll run with the car tuned now.

Yeah i got rons car done, I assume it is working ok b/c he hasnt called me back tellin me that it sucks.. lol..
