Talking Professional Products 85mm Typhoon Polished Intake/85mm TB

Up For Sale Is a New/Never Used Professional Products Power+Plus Typhoon Polished LS1 85mm Intake Manifold + 85mm Throttle Body.

SOLD!

These Intakes Have Been Dyno Tested Proven To Make 17.7 More HP Than the LS6 Intake.

The Typhoon Intake Also Incorporates a Removable Bottom Plate To Facilitate Porting Of Intake For Even More Power!

Note: An Alumnium Intake Is Especially a Wise Choice If Going Forced Induction and/or Nitrous on the LS1 - I have Seen Plastic Intakes That Have Exploded After a Nitrous Backfire - Makes a Real Mess Out of Your Engine Bay!

These Items Were Purchased For My 2nd WS6 Trans Am When I Was Planning On Installing Nitrous - But I have Decided To Leave Car Stock. I sold the NX 85mm MAF Nitrous Setup Recently Here On the Forum - Now This Has To Go Also- Get All Items Now At a Great Price!!!

Items To Be Included:

Qty. (1) #52060 Power+Plus 85mm Typhoon LS1 Intake (Polished)
Qty. (1) #69726 85mm Throttle Body w/Cable Style Linkage (Polished)
Qty. (4) Chrome Fuel Rail Brackets. (Optional Upgrade*)
Qty. (2) Sets of Fuel Rails (1) Red, (1) Blue - Use Either !
Qty. (3) Chrome S.S. TB Socket HD Cap Screws (Optional Upgrade*)
Qty. (1) Custom Polished Aluminum EGR Cover (Optional Upgrade*)
Qty. (2) Chrome Socket Hd Cap Screws for EGR Cover (Optional Upgrade*)
Qty. (1) Clear Powdercoating of Manifold (Optional Upgrade*)

*All items marked with 'Optional Upgrade' are enhancements to parts not included with original intake/TB.

INTAKE:
The intake includes the polished intake (orig. cost of $572), set of the new/upgraded design gaskets, upgraded vacuum fitting kit, upgraded fuel rail plumbing kit, (2) sets of fuel rails (red & blue), chrome plated fuel rail brackets (orig. cost of $60), custom polished aluminum EGR cover (orig. cost of $70) to replace the crappy stamped steel version they give you, chrome socket HD cap screws for EGR cover (orig. cost $7) all original hardware included with intake, instructions.

The intake had a very nice polished finish from mfg - but I know how hard it is to keep bare/polished aluminum looking nice. You end up having to hand polish to brighten up and remove oxidation constantly - very hard to do on F-body intake due to it's location. So I had the guy that does all my powdercoating powdercoat the intake with clear to protect the finish for all time. This powdercoating is very durable and can withstand even gasoline. The process to do aluminum correctly is to first do an initial cleaning/degreasing, then bake the intake in oven @ 600 deg F to out-gass any contaminants from aluminum pores, then another cleaning/degreasing, spray on clear powdercoat, then final bake/cure in oven @ 400 deg F. Powdercoating the intake alone cost $200.

THROTTLE BODY:
The throttle body includes the polished TB (orig. cost of $198), gasket, 85mm-stock size intake adapter (polished)-only used if installing their TB on factory size intake-not needed for this PP intake, chromed stainless steel TB bolts (orig. cost of $20), hardware kit, extra throttle cam - you select which cam is correct for your year of car as the factory changed them certain years.

All items will be packaged/shipped in their original packaging and include ALL original parts/hardware, optional upgrades, and instructions.

Default I just priced all of this new shipped

489.00 for the intake and 185.00 for the throttle body. 674.00 and 20 dollars on shipping . The intake i priced was the 96 mm throttle body and intake , but still exepts the ls1 injectors for a ls1 hookup . So i still think you are a little high on your price?

I buy from reputable companies/sponsors - not fleaBay. I'm not gonna post what I paid again as it it in the first post of this thread. Items were bought from ByunSpeed - where I know I will get service after the sale if needed - not just until the company gets my $$. Believe me, buying from Young has paid off more than one time already.

Plus there is much more included than the intake and TB - that info/cost is also included in the first post. I'm not some college kid that is desperate for money, nor am I eBay, WalMart, or Santa Claus. I'm not giving away items - I discounted the items at over $400 from my original cost for all new items - not used. If you can get them cheaper - then by all means have at it and don't waste my time.

People sell FAST90 intakes USED on here every day for $700+ and members can't get out of each other's way fast enough to scarf them up. I got news for ya - they can be had form a sponsor for that cost NEW (as I just bought one).

I try to make my FS posts as detailed/complete as possible so I don't have to answer tons of questions - if you don't read the whole post then not my problem.

In any event, as posted immediately before you - the items are SOLD awaiting the receipt of the M.O. so I guess there's no reason for anyone to worry about my pricing structure anymore.

And further more, would an eBay company call the owner of PP and get him to personally send out all the upgraded revisions of gaskets/fittings/hardware/fuel rails when I found out that the intake I purchased had none of these (was older stock)?

I think not.... But Young did.

Would an eBay company eat the cost of a throttle body because it was damaged in shipment thru FedEx?

I think not.... But Young did.

So now you have your $70 cheaper intake (than what I paid) from eBay - that is unusable because you have the wrong parts to go with it, and no one on the other end of the email gives a **** about you.

I have the $$ to afford excellent customer service - and that's what I do.

Good Luck
