Default New Magnacharger dyno numbers

Well everyone some of you know that I had oil consumption issues with my car and it was fouling out my plugs. Myself and Ed changed at least 10 sets. I got more in spark plugs in this car then most have in mods. Anyway we got her all figured out back together and on the dyno. Ed has it right now and I will be picking it tomorrow. Well I had to give him a call and see where we were. My problem was several different things. Valve Seals, PCV System, piston rings, and a few other things as well.

Well here is the results.

528RWHP/524RWTQ On the sheet below I hit over 450 RWTQ at 2500 rpm's and 500RWTQ at 3000 rpm's. Ed did alittle more editing on the setup to bring it down a bit. Its at 20 degrees timing with a 11.6 A/F We are seeing alittle less numbers but I am still happy with the numbers. I wanted more tq with my setup, so the cam and everything is based on getting that number up there then shooting for high HP umbers. With the current tune I hit 410 RWTQ at 1500 RPM's and 450 at 2200. Thats more then enough for this daily driver.

Thanks guys...

I was going to go to the LSx shootout but we did not get the issues worked out in time. As for other track time, I am going to try but I cannot make any promises and I do not have tires to support this, it took alittle more time this summer then I was expecting. Not sure any of the tracks locally are open still or not. I will be finding out though that is for sure.

Congrats Damon, I can assure you, this is the car you have been wanting all along.

With the 6 speed and 3.89 9-inch, it's a freaking animal in the first 3 gears! you definately need tires so you can turn some of that wheelspin into forward motion

She's all cleaned up and waiting for you.....

I have a pair of draglites with MT ET Street radials that I want to sell, and BB here in Bowling Green is open till the end of this month.

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR????

And congrats on the numbers, she sounds like it would be pretty wicked.

Nice curve. What size is your cam and how much boost you currently pushing?

Is this kit really that complete to where you can bolt on a bigger pump, tune it and go with ~450rwhp on a stock engine?

It sure is, here's a link to a thread regarding a bone stock '02 WS6 Trans Am making 441 RWHP at 7 PSI
https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamometer-results-comparisons/792472-lm-speed-magnusion-kit-02-ws6.html

Badmonkey's car uses Speed Inc.'s SC2 cam, which is 226/234 598/599 117
and a set of CNC ported 243 castings with stock valves. He's running 8-10PSI since he has forged pistons

Great to hear, I remember back when this car was having problems. Congrats on having a killer daily driver, damn that thing mus give you whip lash. Definetly need some good rubber, now go and enjoy. Will be interesting to see what it can click off at the track. Hope you can break it loose this year yet, good luck!
