th350 with probrake built by ATI said to easily hold 850hp in a 3300lb car. i spent 1500 just on internal parts to beef it up... new hub, glide shaft, upped line pressure.... this comes with a ATI converter that stalls about 5k rpm behind a 620hp motor. 800$ + shipping

you need two cars

that's the very reason why I didn't put an LSX into my 69.

But, I hear you on that one.

I guess that's the price one pays when you want good gas mileage and the ability to pass emissions while making big power.
