Default Props to FLT!!!

Back in October I installed a Level 4 FLT 4L60 along with a Yank SS3600. This past sunday I went to the local track. The trans performed flawlessly. I made a total of 22 passes in about 3-1/2 hours just getting used to the car since it was just my second time out with it.

I can not say enough great things about this trans. Shifts were dead on and lightning fast each and every pass. Thanks again Chuck and Vince for such a kick *** product!!!!

What did you end up running? I felt the same way when I took my car to the track this fall after installing my FLT level 4. It is an amazing piece of work. Chuck and Vince build the best tranny on the market.....period.

I ran a best 12.22 @ 110 w/ a 1.73 60'. If the weather holds I'm gonna head back Sunday and see if I can get it down another tenth or two as long as there isn't such a nasty cross wind like last weekend. Again, this trans is rock solid, I love it.

Thanks for the feedback. You really should not be hot lapping that trans the way your are. Keep an eye on the temps please. Vince

FLT delivers some of the best 4l60e's out there, and they do it time and time again.

... but HOLY HOT LAPPING 22 PASSES!?!?!?

you better get a trans temp guage if you haven't already - and keep a close eye on that thing.

happy motoring - way to go chuck/vince!!!

No problem Vince. I had a several cool down sessions between passes. I would only do 2 or 3 back to back. I have a gauge and it never saw over 190, I run a gigantic cooler Most of the day it was in the 170-80 range.

Good to hear that you are aware of the fact of the trans temps. Hot lapping is not a good thing for these transmissions or any trans for that matter. Keep that in mind when pounding on my trans! Good to hear that you are enjoying it and let me know if you need anything. Thanks Vince
