Default lt1 t56 on a 400 sbc

Anyone know what parts I'm going to need to put my lt1 t56 on a 400 sbc? and where I can find them.

All you need thats different from the LT1 is the flywheel . Centerforce makes one and SPEC might too .

Yup thats what I run on the 'velle, all you need is the 700173 flywheel from centerforce.

BUT!!!!!!!! make sure you SHIM the starter correctly!!!!! I learned the hard way.

i was gonna say centerforce but u guys beat me to it worked great on my buddys 400 in his 3rd gen =)

thanks for the help guys. So the flywheel is the only thing I will need. I can still use the same clutch.
projekt70chevelle the wheels in the picture are asa ar1's 18x8 thats an old pic car has draglites now

Yup same clutch same hydraulics, you need the flywheel because the 400 is a externally balanced crank.
