how close is the colormatch to nbm?

 

It's kinda hard to say cause my car is white and I don't have a NBM car to compare the part to. The best I could do is take a few more pictures for you (maybe without the flash). I just felt like the flash made it look a little lighter than it actually its. To tell yo the truth, I've always thought it has just the slightest tint of purple to it. However, when I bought it from BMR, they called it navy blue.

 

I'm not sure if this will be helpful or not, but here it is contrasted against a NOS brand nitrous bottle. This is one of the blue painted NOS bottles, not one of the brand new anodized blue bottles. Maybe that will give you some basis for comparison?

 

Hmmmmmmmm.. not sure what it's gonna look like on a bm car... wish you were closer so I could check it out!

 

Yeah, I know what you mean. I don't even know anyone that has a NBM car around here or I'd get you a pic of it next to their paint. Like I said, my car is white and I thought it contrasted nice against it. The only other advise I could give you is to call BMR and ask them their opinion. They don't offer this color anymore, so I'm sure they'd be glad to give you their thoughts on how it matches (or if it was even intended to be a matching color). I'm sure they've gotten feedback from their customers, or even installed parts of this color on NBM cars before.
