1999 Hugger Orange SS M6 (1 of 174)
*Asking Price: $ SOLD
*Vehicle City & State: Ferndale, Michigan
*Vehicle Make, Model, Year: Chevrolet, Camaro SS, 1999
*Actual Mileage: 59,900
*Title: Clean
*Transmission Type: Manual
*Body Color: Hugger Orange
*Interior Type and Color: Graphite Leather
*List of modifications: Below
*List of known issues, flaws, or problems: NONE
*Has the vehicle had any accidents or paint work? None! Free carfax with car to prove it.
This is 1 of 174 HOSS vehicles with a 6spd. Car is loaded with monsoon, TTops, power seat, power windows, power locks, cruise. I don't know how many had graphite leather. This car is in amazing condition and looks like it has 20,000 or less miles on it, as it was always garage kept and owned by someone with OCD. This car drives like new, heat is like a sauna, and ac makes ice cubes! It doesn't need anything but a good home, and I am only selling it for a Z06.
This car has been leather conditioned every month (during summer), waxed every time it is washed, with the door jams and underhood wiped down waxed once a year, and gets a clay in spring and fall. Needless to say its been babied. When I change the oil every 2,000 miles, it comes out looking almost like fresh oil.
Pictures are below - please scroll down as I will continue to add them.
Upgrades done just before storage this year (I have all stock parts minus catback):
- Textralia Oz700 Z Grip clutch with billet steel flywheel (18lbs) ($2,000 with labor and everything)
- Remote clutch bleeder
- Brand new GM Slave/Master and pilot bearing
- Michelin pilot sports ($1200)
- Flushed Trans Fluid
- Flushed coolant and added 160 thermostat
- NGK plugs
- Brand New SS Original SS floormats that haven't been used yet
- New Fuel filter
Upgrades done last year:
- SLP loudmouth catback
- SLP leather shift ****
- Pro 5.0 shifter with short stick
- SLP lid and Smooth bellows
- Window tint all around
- Katech Hugger Orange Valve cover kit with coil relocation kit with MSD wires
- Katech Belt tensioner
- Alpine front door speakers to replace the notoriously blown in 1yr paper stockers
- Poly trans and torque arm bushings
- new Ac delco battery ( the original lasted 9 years thanks to the batt maintainer!)
I have the title in hand with no lien.

I have been friends with ConfusedGarage for about 15 years. As a teenager, he worked for one of the busiest exotic car detailing shops in southeast Michigan. You WILL NOT FIND a cleaner car. I personally worked on this car installing the valve covers and tensioner.
I give this car my full endorsement. It's a shame to see it go, but since he is getting a Z06 I guess its okay.

Thanks for posting those...that was the week I brought it home.
Here are some interior pics to add....and I'll keep adding more as time allows, just pulled it out of the garage tonight so it is a little dusty. THe colors look a little weird because it was pitch black out and I was using extreme flash mode, so they all look fine in normal lighting. Im no photographer, sorry.

Free bump for you! I made the same decision in Sept to sell my beloved 2001 SS to get a Z06. You will feel sad at 1st when your car does sell but when you get your Vette you will be in love again. I was looking for Z06's but found my fixed roof coupe at a price to i couldn't pass! Your SS is super clean and nice! Good Luck!
