Default I've decided on my new motor.......FINALLY!

Oh man have I learned alot about the LS motors this last week. I hope with a BIG sick *** cam this combo will put out mid to high 500's to the wheels.

As stated in the other post i'm not going forced induction on this setup ever but would like to add a little laughing gas in the future after this gets boring.

I hope to hell it sounds like this car....

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...&highlight=440

Here's the details....

440cid LS7 with...

Callies Compstar 4.10" stroke crankshaft
Callies 6.125" Rods
Diamond Racing 4.125" flat-top pistons with -3.8cc valve reliefs
PRC ported LS7 cylinder heads
Stainless steel hollow-stem 2.20" intake valve
1.61" stainless steel exhaust valve
PRC dual valve spring kit
Haven't decided on a cam....
hardened pushrods
LS7 lifter kit
LS7 intake and exhaust rocker arms
ARP 12-point head stud kit
GM LS7 head gaskets
ported oil pump
Loaded LS7 intake manifold

Thank you Mark, Ellis, Jantzer98SS, and everyone else who contributed info.

I think it's a great choice. Couldn't go wrong with the TFS topend either.

Good choice Chad! Should be a killer setup. I sent you a PM with a few suggestions (most of which it appears you've made already).
