Well I've found some things I'm interested in buying so my motor has to go soon.

LS1 346 aluminum motor with 72,000 miles on it. Motor ran STRONG, cam only put down 426/394 with stock untouched 853 heads. The shortblock will come with no cam, and no pushrods but everything else needed will be there. Asking $500.00

Does this engine make any noise at all? I have a 1998 SS that has a rod knock. I can swap in the old cam, and exhaust no problems.

We may have to talk.

 

a lil hard to belive on the 853 thing puting that kind of power down. but nice price....

 

I don't recall hearing any funky noises the last time I was in the presence of the car (roughly 4 months ago), just some sweet exhaust sounds.




It is for real, it was a somewhat aggressive cam with true duals through a manual trans and 10 bolt of course.

i did the install of the cam and swapped the 6 speed in it and my tuner tuned it... it deff made the power hes saying.
