Civette's new project......LS2000

With the power to compensate for the added weight, I don't think it will be much of a problem cosidering the fact that the S2k had barely any torque with its stock motor. Maybe a set of heavier springs rates up front and the consideration of where the engine sits to retain weight distribution will be key.

Followed the civette build from the begining and will follow this one as well. You actually motivated me to do my own swap and am currently stalled right now but will pick it up soon once I finish moving! Props bro, can't wait for some pics!

i always loved the styling of the honda s2000 but felt the motor was the weak point, now it wont be.
your builds inspire me to build a car of my own maybe a warhawk swap into a honda de sol?

im glad to see someone else is doing this. i have a spare s2000 subframe with the lsx mounts welded up already if you want it. it will work with either the t56 or tko600 transmissions or auto if your going in that direction. mine is all finished but i also ran out of money building the engine. i could always run it on the stock ls1 but what fun would that be. i have a second set of long tubes that work with this setup also. lmk if you need anything
