Both of these fuel iteams have less then 2K miles on them before I pulled!! I ended up running higher boost and had to upgrade the fuel pump & injectors..A FMU is (fuel management unit)is a unit that when connected to a manifold vac line will supply more fuel to the stock injectors by restricting the fuel return line!Im asking $250 shipped for both of theseand really dont wish to seperate at

This is an in line fuel pump which was made to add to the stock fuel pumps pressure, so if your wanting to use as a stand alone fuel pump ? I dont think it will work beings the bad pump will act as a restrictor !!unless you remove the bad pump in your tank LOL!!and even then ,you might as well just replace it while its in your hand LOL!!Good luck

No,This mounts in the rear of the car up behind the rear axil next to the fuel press reg. What it does is restricts the return fuel coming right out of the regulator and is boost referanced, so under boost conditions ,with a vac line connected to the FMU ,under boost no vac to FMU restricts the return fuel creating more pressure up front for the stock injectors Hope this helps and is correct LOL!!
