Well, I messed up my taxes this year and I owe uncle sam a little over $3K. I need to sell something pretty fast and the Camaro is the only thing I don't really need. The car is a 1999 camaro z28 a4 vert with 109k on the motor and 60k on the trans. It runs great and shifts good. It was in an accident before I owned it. The entire car was repainted about a month ago and I was going to replace the top but the work stops now on it due to my tax issues. I bought it as a project and a few things will need to be taken care of.

-Needs new top
-needs repair to convertible pump motor b/c it leaks
-power locks don't work
-I have original seats to it but they're torn up. There is 1997 camaro seats in it now
-needs a lock for the trunk
-small oil leak
-needs a wheel bearing b/c it makes a grinding sound
-a tire up front is out of balance
-gas gauge is on and off
**car has reconstructed title

If I can think of anything else I will post it up. The car is all stock exept the wheels and a muffler. Any questions just pm me.

 

Damn thats a good deal, if I hadn't just shat out 65k on a new 7 series (although financed) I'd be all over this. G/l though with the sale, don't think it'll be around that long.

The car has a reconstructed title. It was hit in the back when the previous owner had it.

Mechanically the car is sound. It runs and shifts very strong.

It needs a few odds and ends which are listed in my original posts.

it's the internet man. people want it perfect for $3500. i'm sure you're getting offers of $2500 to $3000 too. if you listed it at $2000, at least 1/2 of your offers will be for $1500. you can easily get $5k for this if you spend $40-70 to place an ad in the local Auto Trader.

 

I know but I need a quick sale like by next week quick. I just got out of debt and there is no way in hell I'm going back. If it wasn't for taxes I'd be keeping the car but Uncle Sam is milking me for everything that they can get.

 

I'd even try craigslist (reluctantly) you might get more than what you're asking for even after weeding out the nigerian scammers and out of state cashier check scammers. I personally think you should advertise it in ur local auto trader and pick up a few more bucks. Like Mark306ci said everyone on here (almost everyone) is going to low ball the crap out of you or want a mint cherry 12000 mile LS1 with all mods for 6 grand. Just my 2 cents. It's still a nice ride for a hell of a price, Don't go too far under ur asking bro.
