First on the block is my stoptech big brake kit. Ordered in 2003, they have been sitting in my closet since the car was wrecked. They were actually on the car for about a month and saw ~1500 miles. I would suggest rebuilding the calipers for safeties sake, having sit for so long I simply would not trust a life to the seals. The kit uses the stoptech ST-40 calipers and 332x32mm AeroRotors from stoptech, and has Pagid orange pads on it (which I believe are very good having driven on them to the track and the open tracked with them). Replacement rotors, caliper rebuild kits and replacement pads are all available through a stoptech reseller (as stoptech has stopped selling direct apparently). I'm asking $1000, which means even if your replace the rotors and pads and rebuild the calipers you should still have the kit for around $500 less than a brand new kit. Please remember to check wheel fitment.

Next is a set of Kooks Custom long tube headers. These have never been on a car, bought them in 03 but the car was wrecked before I could put them on. The headers are stepped 1-7/8" to 2" with a 3" collector. They fit all LS1 F-bodies, but the EGR and other emissions fittings are for the 2000. I'm not sure how complicated it is to adapt them to the other years, but if you want you can simply eliminate them with block-off plates. The collector is a slip on collector so that it can be changed out for a different diameter or for a merge collector. As it is, the collector is very nice with a ~4-1/2" long velocity spike. I'm asking $700 for them.

A bump and clarification. The stoptech BBK doesn't need new rotors or pads. The kit has roughly 1k street miles on it with about 400 track miles, so that’s probably the equivalent of 2k street miles. The main thing I stress is that the calipers should be rebuilt simply to replace the seals. Being exposed for the last 5 years I wouldn’t trust anyone’s life to old seals. I called LG motorsports and they told me that the caliper rebuild kit is ~$75 per caliper, so $150 total. Pads and rotors still have most of their life left, but how many miles that is depends on the driving.

Where in texas are you? And do you got the brackets and SS lines? And what wheels did you have to clear it, just wondering if an OEM SS will work?

 

I have everything that came with the kit except the SS lines. The brackets are attached to the calipers in the photo, the bracket attaches to the stock location using the stock bolts.

I'm in San Marcos, but frequent Houston. They did not fit behind my 2000 WS6 wheels, but the best I can say is try the wheel fitment. I used CCWs.
