Ls1 Gauge Cluster
I have 2 gauge clusters one has 43k it is out of a 02 LS1 65.00 shipped & one has 79k it is out of a 99 LS1 50.00 shipped. Both works perfectly.

it's easy to change out (bump by the way)
like a 7mm socket to remove two screws in the panel/cover, then the same w/an extension to remove the 4-6 screws (ain't done it in a year - don't remember exact #)
drop your steering wheel to lowest angle and pull the cluster out. SOME are tight and need to drop whole steering column about 3/4". Firebird/T/A's are easier because of the design of the upper dash cover (no steering wheel drop at all).

The mileage is stored in the cluster. You could get the dealership to set the new cluster. Legally they need to see your actual mileage off your old cluster. Or... you could just install it and not sweat the details. Super easy to change. I have had mine in and out in 10 minutes. Changed to a white luminescent faced overlay. (That took a while.)
