Up for sale is a 2001 5.3l Longblock (706 heads) 81k miles with intake/injectors/TB. The guy I bought it from said it had a slight ticking sound when cold and sometimes when the motor was warmed up. He pulled it and put in a 6.0 that had 12k on it. I never got to hear it run so I was guessing loose rocker arm/bad lifter or slight piston slap. The dealer he bought it from originaly said it was common and since it was out of warrenty, not to worry about it. He said he towed his boat a lot so he always wanted a 6.0l. The enguine passed smog 2 months ago so I know it was running pretty good. It would either make a good basis for a rebuild or a replacement for a blown motor.

I'm looking to get $500 b/o. I'll palletize and bring it to my warehouse (loading dock) if someone wants to handle freighting it. Local pickup is cool of course.
