Default LS2 454 short /ET265cc heads w/covers

I think I'm finally going to bail on the racing game to start tournament bass fishing as my main hobby. I'm starting with the heart of the project, the engine/heads, and will sell off the EXTENSIVE list of parts after the engine sales. If there is no interest, it will go to ebay. Heads must sell with engine due to the pistons being custom made for them. Description as follows:

Short Block:
LS2 block dry sleeved by Steve at R.E.D.
4.150" bore
Lunati Pro billet custom cut 4.185" stroke crank
Callies Compstar 6.125" rods
Custom -13cc Wiesco pistons (reliefs cut for ET 265's)
ARP main bolt kit w/stock mains
11:8:1 compression with below heads
Built and put together by Erik Koenig at HKE.

Heads:
ET 11* 265cc
2.10" SS intake valves
1.60" SS exaust valves
.700" PSI 1225 hydraulic roller springs
Xceldyne light weight titanium retainer upgrade
Chamber opened by hand to 4.150" (66cc)

Rockers/covers:
Jesel J2K lightened Mohawk series rockers
ETP valve covers made for 265's / come with billet coil brackets

I've got $8k in the short and $5600 in the heads/rockers/covers. Everything is brand new. Engine is still in original factory bag and heads in original box with tape still covering deck. Will sale for $12k/you cover freight of the engine. Heads/rockers/covers will go UPS or USPS, your choice. Everything is avalible NOW. No telling how long you'd have to wait if you started to order this combo today. Buyer will get first choice of almost any part needed to finish the project at cost of said item. Pic below, intake not included, unless you have the dough.

That's one thing I would have absolutly no use for. As far as stuff I have, there's alot. Almost anything needed to finish out this motor, full suspension, drivetrain, fuel system, 02' SS with 10k miles that's been sitting in the garage for 4 years etc.... Once again, none of that is FS until the motor goes, after that, it's a open market.

Not for sale yet, but it is the 55mm version for future reference.

I was looking forward to seeing it together and see how our 2 set ups compared.

It would have been cool to see a 454 SS with a 455 WS6 both packing the Harrop 55's together.

Good luck with the sale.

Hopefully some one will pick up the complete project and see it to completion.

How much for the car? Is it a hard top? 877-866-9336, T/F, Brian. 9-6 pm. Body only as I have a complete drive line. Making purpose built car. Call me and let me know just in case you sell the motor. Thanks.

It wouldn't be worth it to sell it as a body. I have 90% of the stock parts to go back with, so I'll pick up the remaining parts and sell it as a 10k mile 1LE 02SS. I'm sure it will fetch a decent price. It's basically new.

If I can find a buyer for the short, I would have no problem spliting. Whoever bought the short would likely have to buy new pistons though due to the offset valves reliefs that match the 265's.
