Thanks KEE - New Replacement Speakers Sounds Good
Talked to Eon and he set me up with a good package, really appreciate his help and effort. Running a good business.
I went with xplods in the back, bazookas in the sails, and CDTs up front. The system definitely sounds different and better. It's more high pitched and a lot clearer which is great for rock. The bass is decent for rap, it doesn't hit any harder, but it does hit deeper and the woofers don't crack when playing. I have to say I was expecting the Bazookas to hit a little harder than stocks, but they really don't. But, like I said they are smoother and hit a little deeper.
I'm kind of wondering if there is any way to turn the amp up or anything for the bazookas? Seems as though they might want a little more power. Still very pleased with results and glad I went through Kee.

Scratch that about the Bazookas, I started playing with the equalizer and fade after I was completely done putting the speakers in. And started doing some more testing on different songs. I would have to say the Bazookas do hit harder... Very pleased with results!!!!

The fade on the stock Monsoon is a weird one. You put it to the back and it doesn't exactly work that way. At least from what I can see. The Bazookas do what they are supposed to and I am happy with them also. They aren't to be a replacement for a good 10+ inch sub on a amp in the rear. Most subs including ones the size of Bazookas benefit from more power. I imagine amplified they would be killer! I also imagine you would need your plastic sured up a bunch or you would have rattle City!
Are you running everything on stock Monsoon and what CDT's did you go with up front? I got the 62's from Kee and a set of TW-25 tweets for the pods. I am finishing that up this weekend so can't wait!
Also did you unhook your rear hatch speakers? It needs something without a tweet like a mid-bass speaker. Anyone ever do this? What are the options? If I thought my Tang Band 6.5's could fit there it may be worth a try. Or possibly just a mid-bass 5.25" or something. Just too harsh coming off that glass! I am either going to unhook them or find something to swap in!
