I don't know how many total were made, but I do know mine is the only red 6 speed still on the road. There were 3 red ones - 1 was A4 and two were M6. The other M6 was wrecked a couple of years ago. I was in contact with the other red car owner awhile back, but not sure what happened to him. When I bought mine, they had black, white and silver SevanSeries cars on the lot. That accounts for 6 at the very least. I also know of a pewter '99 car, so that's 7. The sales guy I spoke with when I bought mine said there were about 50 or 60 of them made so far, and I bought mine in July of '99. Considering the small number of them I've seen running around, though, I find the 50-60 numbers hard to believe.
You know who might be able to tell you based on invoices how many cars were built in '99? LG Motorsports. I would be curious to know as well.
Incidentally, they stopped using LG during the 2000 model year.

Note the page hadn't been updated since July of 2003.
He would respond to a thread that is 3 years old because he knew how to use the search function to find what he was looking for.

2000 Sevan Series Convertable
I have a 2000 WS6 6 speed convertable sevan series that I bought at Crest auto out of Plano TX in 2003. I have been looking for information on this car since I bought it. It is black on black with the Enkei rims ,strut tower brace ,frame connectors, body is lowered , borla exhaust with the raptor hood. It has the sevan series on each door. Can anybody provide numbers of cars for this year? The only info I have was Steve Evans was buying the kits/ parts from LG and doing the conversions at his dealership. I was also told this was the only six speed convertable done in 2000. I have no solid way of confirming this The car runs great and looks awesome.

Holy old thread, Batman. Take a look at my sig. I've moved far away from the TA now. I am on my third Vette since selling it.
B-RAD2 is the new owner.
But you have a special car. Take good care of it. I had a lot of fun with mine.

I saw one of these at Cars & Coffee in June. I thought it was a joke poking fun at BMW seven series cars... not a funny joke either... so I only took two photos of the car. Now I suppose I'm a bit annoyed I pretty much ignored the car when it was actually a legitimate special aftermarket car.
I don't remember it having any distinctive aftermarket looking stuff on it besides the Enkei wheels and Borla exhaust.
