do those 410 gears work in a 2006 GTO rear end? mabe a stupid question, i dont know.

 

i dont know the were in my 2001 ls1 ill have to check any one know the answer?

 

if anyone is going to answer that quetion, here is another... Is anything else needed for the swap, or do u just pop one gear out and replace with the 410?

torque arm , trans cooler and line lock are sold to chevyz2801

 

no, gto uses totally differnt gearset. best gear you can get is a 3.91 and it is expensive. something like $900 for the gear and install kit. comapny that makes them is in australia. other choice is a swap one company does with a Cobra IRS. that cost around $3500 but then you can get any 8.8 ford gearset for it. either way very expensive for the GTO crowd.
