Let me know if you don't hear back from first buyer. Do you have the mounting bolts to go with the bracket?

Default Power steering pump

Hi

Does your power steering pump have a good reservoir on it?? I could use that. I;d take the whole pump if it's easier...

I already have the bracket...

Hi, I just got the pics. Its not the one I am looking for so go a head and let one of the other guys have it.

The one on my 2002 is very different than this one (this is the same as the one on my 98 though.) I would guess it would probably work but I dont want to have it chromed and then there be some difference some where.

Thanks and good luck.

Could you send me a pic. I was assuming all f-body LS-1's would use the same pump and bracket, from the sounds of 97ramsst, there are differences? Send pic to rkunkel@clearwire.net, sorry to be a pain.

Here is the picture of the bracket he sent me. (Nitorvette I hope you dont mind me posting it...I am not trying to crap on your thread or anything.)

As far as I can tell the pump is the same, but the brackets are without a doubt different. On my car the bracket mounts like that one but just doesnt have that piece sticking out at the bottom (its flat.) I dont even think anything bolts to that piece (at least on my 98 it doesn't.) As for the smaller piece in the picture...I dont even know where that goes, as far as I know I dont not have that piece at all on my 02 (and I have never had the pump off the 98.) I would think it would work with any F-Body but it is certainly different than the stock one on my 02. Thats the reason I asked for pictures to see which one it was.

Thats cool thanks for posting it,i know it was definitely a 99 setup, the piece that stuck up got a short bolt going through the other bracket.Hopefully someone wil chime in and maybe figure it out.

Ok so the pump sandwiched between the small bracket and the large bracket and the piece sticking up basicaly just held the small bracket? Then the two bolts that hold the pump on went through the small bracket....through the pump and into the large bracket? That makes sense. On mine the small bracket is eliminated and the two bolts just go through the pump and into the large bracket.

Yours should work fine with any year model then...in fact its probably beefier than mine is.
