I'm new here so please forgive my rookie questions. What is a "dropout"? And, what does "cradle" mean in this context? Also, I'm assuming that "dropout" doesn't usually include suspension? And finally, it's safe to assume that every "dropout" is different?

a dropout is just the whole engine mounted to the transmission sitting on the k member with all the front suspension dropped out of the front end. Ls1w is a great seller by the way.

Yes, you will have the engine, ECU, and wire harness...everything needed to run the motor, but the k-member and suspension will not be applicable to a non-Fbody.
