Ok, just bought the car, & it came with some fugly exhaust tips.


I ended up getting some nice Magnaflow tips. Here are a few pics of them. Theyre #35123 on the Magnaflow site, 3.5 inch outlet, 2.25 inlet. The tips were $128. Yea, I know. Get rid of the taillights. I got a set of factory tails from a forum member in shipment.







Also installed a new SLP SS grill. Love the look but what a PITA it was to push in them lil plastic clips into the bumper.

 

Looks better.

Once get them OEM tail lights gonna look nice.

 

i think oval tips look better for maros

 

I know you just installed the tips... but get rid of them. Dump your exhaust. IMO camaros shouldn't have tips.

I kinda agree with you on that one. I kept my stock z28 black tips cause there tucked under the bumper slighty so you cant really see it unless you look.

 

Yea, & I cant imagine what those tips would actually look good on. Them ugly things are Magnaflows as well I dont think I will be going to a set of dumps. They might sound better cuz theyre true duals, but I hear you get the exhaust smell inside the car & most of the pics I have seen the dumps are pretty scraped up. Maybe thats because the car is lowered, mine is not. The single round dual tips are more of a classic camaro look IMO. When I first got the tips, they looked a lil big but once installed I like them.

 

Im not into the single exhaust tips but it looks way better then it did with those other tips. Grille's nice too

 

I agree, but dumped duals sound redneck as **** without a good cam backing them up. Fact.
