compared to a mpt70, how much more power is it capable of?
and how much larger is it physically?

We'll see, one is going on the dyno today to replace a MP T70. The MP T70 maxed out at 651rwhp.

Customer called...Just off the dyno.....4 pulls. Turbo is done on power.

The customer (SB) on here can post up the dyno if he wants to.....car maxed the turbo at 707rwhp. Backpressure is 42lbs.....intake was 17psi. Tried more boost.......spike to 19psi then settles to 17psi, but backpressure was WAY higher. This is on a 360ci engine...spool up was right at 300rpms slower... wtih 4th gear pass.

Well you have to look at if for what it is guys. This unit is a budget unit built to make more power then their T70. Its not built to make power like the larger chargers. It would need a much larger turbine wheel to do that. For what it is, its not a bad buy at all. We all knew the turbine wheel would be the limiting factor on a V8. On a smaller motor, it would probably do better....but its still based on the T70's straight cut p-trim.

75 crank HP is not bad on a 360 with that size turbine. They addressed the compressor side, but they left the turbine side alone. It is what it is guys.....its still a nice budget piece.

AKA, V8 weak sauce.

Great budget turbo, especially for twins on a large motor.

Wow, that is a complete pile of horsedung. Are you kidding me Dr.Turbo?????
There is only one MP T76 in the country and it belongs to Bud8fan off of performance trucks. Why would you post complete and total lies on my thread???? You have never dynoed a car with this turbo.

There is only one way to get this turbo currently and that is through me.

If anyone wants to find out the truth just call Masterpower here is the phone # 1-877-845-3804 just ask for Manny Casini.

As for Dr.Turbo, why??? Is it that you feel you must discredit masterpower turbos because we won't sell them to you anymore????
