I didn't specify signature confirmation when the kits were shipped - I think the box is simply just too big to stuff into a mailbox and when a package is insured, they won't just leave it outside somewhere.

Mine was the same way, so I went to the post office to pick it up. I could have just signed the card and left it for the mail man the next day though...it didn't have to be signed in person, but it did need to be signed.

The only difference will be the line itself. We have a line to test, I just need an LT1 car to test it on so we can make sure it will work ok. I should know something in the next day or two.

Great, were you able to get a line with the pin fitting or will I need an adapter?

I'm going to try an use a pin fitting adapter made by Russell. It adapts it to a -3 and I have a custom -4 line with a -3 end made onto it.

I can only get the -3 on a -4 line fitting as a straight fitting so I need to check and make sure that a straight fitting will work and then how much legnth we need. Otherwise we'd have to use another adapter to make it have a 90 degree turn like the factory. Mcleod offers a -4 adapter, but its about the same price as four of the Russell fittings.

Damn, I can't wait to see some real world results from these, ESPECIALLY from people who have shifting issues with the stock, RAM, McLeod, etc. I have a RAM adjustable with my Tex OZ700 and although it feels better than previous clutches, it's still a bit notchy and inconsistent shifting-wise. I can't powershift at all. My buddy just got his so I can't wait to see how it works for him. If it works like I'm HOPING it does, I'll be placing my order soon.

But I've given up on hope when it comes to anything clutch/tranny related.

^^^(speak of the devil) Aaron, if I get a free night or day (maybe Saturday morning if you're free), we can pop that thing in at my house. The only payment I ask is that you let me take it around the block before and after so I can FEEL the difference and decide if I want one.

Joey, are these braided lines different than the OEM line? Do they need to be drilled out (ie drill mod) before installed?

They should just be braided steel lines, no restriction like factory.

Actually Joe, I will take you up on that offer, not this weekend but maybe next. I will be at the pike Saturday night but I have a engagement in the afternoon.

We will talk more.

And yes, you can beat on the car lol!

Our braided lines are better than the OEM line. As it states on our site, these kits completely eliminate the need for the drill mod and/or any other bandaid fixes.

We've done multiple cars with high-RPM shifting issues (especially using the Textralia clutch) - I assure you that the before and after differences are astounding. You're going to love beating on your buddies car.

Good luck with the install Aaron!

My theory is if the clutch only gives a issue on a hard launch I will take it easy out of the hole and spray a 200 shot and hopefully 10.9s at 150mph with a 2.3x60ft. Whatta ay think WS6transam69???
