My Buddy knows him...that who the camera man is. i was talking to him on the phone about the street driving he said that its FAR from street legal i think he said the tail lights and head lights dont work and no plates, but they just said what the hell so they could make the video lol. I think he also said it was a 398 LSx motor with some sick ass turbo setup if i am not mistaken. Hes shooting for the 7's

Yea, I've been told that as long as you've got a little flag on the bars they're legal, just like if you were carrying lumber or something in a truck and some was hanging out, so people can see them. And as long as the 'chute doesn't cover your license plate you're ok.
I don't know if he normally drives a low 8sec car on the street (I would imagine it was just for the vid), but we've had a couple high 8/low 9sec cars around here that occassionally drive their cars on the street with 'chutes and bars.
