Ummmm well not having ALL the receipts in front of my probably like 10-12K or so.....
I'll probably have at least another 5K in it cause I still need exhaust, Gen VII DFI, and some electrical stuff and i'm in the process now of a complete fuel system 14 gallon sumped tank, Walbro 2025, 10AN/8AN lines, etc...
But motor only will probably be done for about 10-12ish.... Half filled LT1 block .030 over, Lunati crank, Oliver rods, JE Nitrous pistons, AFR 227's ported, Victor E manifold, Accufab 2000cfm TB, direct port, standalone fuel system for n2o, whole motor is studded, Canton pan, Jesel shaft rockers and big solid roller done by secondstreetspeed....
So I guess selling my motor for $9K would be a great deal for somebody
So I guess selling my motor for $9K would be a great deal for somebody
Uhhhhh yeah i'm thinking so..... guess it depends on what all it comes with... you're talking complete long block? the rr 215's, intake to pan????
if i didn't already have money tied up in this one that will be ready in 2 weeks hell i'd buy it...
Lemme know and i can help ya advertise with ppl that aren't on the net up in my area....

Yeah when I sell it, it will be the complete longblock. Intake to Oil Pan. On 15lbs of boost it made ~1169 RWHP. This Motor has more compression, 9.5:1. I've only taken it down the track 3 times. First Pass on 15lbs of boost was a 8.30 @169. Next pass was at San Antonio for the LS1Tech race, had to lift on the run, almost hit the wall. 3rd Pass (turned it up), 1.27 60' broke the planetaries in the transmission about 300' out. That's what a heavy car (3415lbs) and power does. Plan to take it out this Sunday. This motor is also half filled, Oil pressure is about 80psi at startup, after it warms up it's around 50psi, blip the throttle and it's @ 100-110 psi.

All parts $2100 new. $1500 is a steal!!
I will also sell the Turbo kit (minus turbo/Intecooler/wastegate/bov-just hot parts: headers, crossover, downpipe) for another $1200. The other parts can be purchsed if buyer wishes. These parts will only be sold with the Hot parts, not seperate. HKS GTII 60mm Wastegate- $600, Tial BOV- $125, Precision 91.5/98mm Turbo(21 runs)- $1800.

Buy all the Turbo Setup listed for $ 3,500
Buy the entire setup Motor/Turbo for $14,500
That is a screamin deal rick.... like i said if I didn't already have my motor going together and almost ready to deliver i'd buy it.... Well since you're paying attention to this post what do you think about my setup going together and what do you think i should do about my ignition deal. I've been toying with the idea of going Coil on plug but i'm leaning towards trying to run the MSD Pro Billet opti and seeing if it'll be a nice part. If not I can always change it later...
block is a half filled .030 over 383 LT1 with program engineering 4 bolt splayed mains, Lunati 3.75 crank, Oliver 6" rods with rod bolt upgrade, JE custom gas ported flattops (12:1 CR) setup for nitrous with a 300 top ring land (we told JE we want pistons that could take a 500 shot)... Heads are competition ported AFR 227's 68cc chambers, cometic head gaskets, using ARP head studs, Victor E manifold setup for EFI with 96 lb/hr injectors, Accufab 2000cfm throttle body, second street speed solid roller cam 24x/26x with and lift on intake 700+ and exhaust 680+ using Jesel shaft rockers 1.7/1.6 ratio. Lemons stepped race headers 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 with 3.5" collectors, ATI TH400 with brake and ATI 4000 stall converter, 9" rear with 35 spline axles and Spohn torque arm, BMR complete suspension front with upper/lower control arms, QA1's, Aerospace brakes, Billingsley delete plate, Strange manual brake, Manual rack from Madman, and the only change to the rear suspension is fixing my wolfe racecraft bar and installing double adjustable AFCO shocks per madman's advice.....
Going to setup a secondary fuel system just for nitrous and probably going to dump a 300 shot out the hole and possibly and additional hundred when i pull 2nd or 3rd gear....
Does that sound like enough balls to break into the 8's????? You would know

Sled you areright I am part of the rules committee. I am the tech director. Does that mean I set the rules????? NO I only make sure that everyone is in compliance.
On my supposed 482 ci. engine I guess you took the part about 5 stages of NOS and the 3000 stall AND 3200lbs seriously too.

Brian Edwards went 9.07@147? a few years ago at the Southern/Thunder Shootout in King of the Cane. It's a 360 LT1 with LT1 Castings, HSR and a Dry Fogger. It's a 3rd gen though but it's pretty much the same suspension setup as us 4th gen guys.

Tell me about it. Broke an axle this weekend. This thing is making huge power right now and hauling ass. I've put myself on a diet. down to 209 today. Started at 235 two week ago. As for the car, she's got everything lightweight but the cage. There is a good 100lbs if not more in the cage( original 10pt is 1 3/4 MS). Plans are to get that taken care of also.
YEah still can't see anything. I'm tyring to get VFN to make me a new hood. The raceweight right now is 3415. Plans are a new cage that should drop atleast another 100lbs. Other then that not much weight I can pull out. Everything else is already lightweight stuff. My goal is to get to 3250. 50 of that is me =) The cons of running a turbo car.
