Default Another New Best at Rockingham

My previous best was a 9.81@136. with a 6.25@111. I decided to head back down to the track one more time for some TNT to see if I could run high 7's was my goal....First pass of the trailor follows..

.011 light (head chopper..lol)
1.36
6.24@112
9.79@138

I was STOKED!! Figured I would let it cool down and make another pass..

.038 light
1.40
6.22@111.3
9.76@138.3

So I made 2 solid 9.7 passes!! Well on my last pass I decided to give it all she had out of the hole...I was taking it easy because I didn't want to stand it stright up....I had a few guys at the track talkin shit and wanted to run me....I agreed being that didn't know what my car ran I put "NT" on my car so they wouldn't see what it runs....I get to the line and they hurry up and pre-stage and stage before I am even done doing my burnout...I'm like WTF?? OOhh well...Go up there and hit it hard out of the hole and goes as follows..

.006
1.32
6.18@112
9.92@134

I ran out of freakin nitrous!! I was SO PISSED!! OOhh well..I met my goal for the winter...It ran back to back 9.7's and trapped over 135...thats all I wanted..I am coming back next season looking to run in the 9.3's range and still be able to drive it on the street..

Thanks

ps- and when yall can, I need a 9sec title change!! Thanks

I hate that running out of nitrous stuff. the local welding supply guy came by the other day , so i asked hey do you have nitrous? he said yeah, ill get you a price in a few days....still waiting. I usually bring 2 bottles, so i get 4 good passes, last time i borrowed another bottle, but both bottles are expired and need recerts, so most places wont fill them anyway, I have a friend thats going to pri, i have him looking for deals on 15 lb bottles for the hell of it. wonder how much i could sell nitrous at the track for lol
congrats on the 9.7's soon youll be pissed when you get them lol

Oh its a carb setup. You running a plate or fogger?

I had a double cross bar plate and a annular fogger on mine, but I ended up giving the crossbar plate to my buddy to run on his car.

I am running a NOS Cheater. I am about to change to a NX plate or a NX Fogger. Cant make up my mind on what I am going to do. Probally just stick with the plate and see how she does...Looking for some dee9 9.4's in the near future....Just gotta up the spray...

I really like the foggers because you can tune cylinders if you have one running on the lean side.

My fogger was nice and smooth.
