new combo... 9's?

69 camaro, 406 ci sbc, 650 crank hp (about), 3000 lbs raceweight, 4800 converter, powerglide (1.82 First gear), light weight driveshaft, Fab 9" rear
(4.56 gear), 29' tall slick. Fullllll racing suspension. Leaving off the footbreak. What do you all think... is 9's possible?

I would think the lower side of the 10's, the low gear 1st gear from the PG is going to hurt you as well as only having a 4800 stall and not having a transbrake.

We have a 3000# or so race weight car with a p/g with a 15-1 406 that runs 9's on the motor but it also has 18* heads on it.

i say 10.10-10.30s because of the powerglide ....it woul be close with a th350....
