Default New Build Thread

i have a 96 SS that had a trashed motor and pulled it out, and later on found an SBC well i picked it up from the machine shop last night and everything is good to go i need a few things still but i am going to start this build thread, starting with a pic of the motor, sorry for crappy cell pic

A 4l60e isnt a bad tranny... just have it built a little... if this is a budget build then find you a torque converter out of a s10... it will stall 2700

Tell us more about the motor bottom end and post all the pics you can....

heck a i didnt know that, and i was reading somewhere that a 4l60e wont bolt up to an SBC ... but the motor is .030 with an eagle crank, solid roller lifters, hardened extended pushrods, the cam is a comp cams 12-211-2. air gap intake, ect, ill keep the pics coming

will have updated pics today, this is my first sbc to 4th gen so what are good tips to follow? also as far as carb throttle cable, ect small crap like that

there is nothing easier then a sbc... parts are cheap and easy to come by... you wouldnt believe the people who have awesome parts just sitting around... i trade for my parts
