Dude said "Why dont u go with a Holley and an AirGap instead of the TPI?"...then the other guy said "He would be SO much HAPPIER!"....How hard is that for you guys to understand????!!! And Napolean Dynamite says, "God, Idiots".

He would would be SO much HAPPIER with a Holley and an Airgap then he would be with TPI...As in he would make about 50 more horsepower above 5K.

the stock vortec computer will only rev to 5900
a tune port set up on these motors ( vortec )will torque almost like a BB or diesel but will suffer on the top end probally fall on its face about 4800
the lt1 intake should be a good all around intake for this also but it all depends what this is going in. if this is for a heavy vehicle, I'd stroke it with a hot cam 2500 stall with a lt1 intake or stealth ram.
