 help with my formula ws-6

guyys i have a 96 formula and there is line coming off of my purge cylinoid it apperars to be a vacuum line but i dont see where it goes i had a "friend do work on my car and it was never hooked back up it has a code 1440 emissions from non purge if anyone knows where the line is supposed to go please let me know its about 1 foot long the cylinoid has 1 plug and a breather and this line im trying to find where it goes
