GMMG made ten Collector Edition BlackBirds. The last one was built five or six weeks ago.

Thats a cool pic! I was unsure if they had the stripes on the side of the hood or not. I remember seeing of these cars on ebay a few years ago....don't remember final price though.

It has all the same signs/content as a regular blackbird, just painted in the collectors yellow without the BB stripes on the hood. The rims are an obvious factor too.

I bought the CETA brand new (open MSO) in late August 2008 and arranged for GMMG to convert it to the BlackBird. I had been talking with Matt Murphy for about four years trying to find a BB and when he got the opening for the last CEBB I jumped on it. That is the only reason I bought a CETA, so it could be converted and I would have a brand new BlackBird. The car was converted in September (had to wait for the wheels) and Matt signed it on 10/09/2008. Matt delivered it to me on 10/13/2008. Had 3.42's put in it because it is automatic and did not want to suffer the gas consumption of 3.73's. It is a convertible.
