I read somewhere that there where ceta blackbirds, looks legit. and it says only 2 ceta blackbirds where made one had t-tops, meaning that the other was a convertible.
well if u are interested in buying and want to kno for sure there is one way of finding out.. i see he didnt put the vin# up so email him and ask for it then give matt a call and ask him if its real
Ask him for the number on the brass tag inside the driver-side door jamb, and/or VIN for verify by Matt IF you can get in touch with Matt. He is busy. It should also have a number on DS base of windshield and on back of rearview mirror, a large yellow decal (Power by Carl Black, etc.) on the airbox as well as a center console tag. Oh yeah, the gauge faces will be silver with a Blackbird graphic and the Blackbird emblems on the side fenders between the CE emblems and the front wheels. I don't see the emblems on that car but mine are not affixed yet. Rear lower panel changed from black to match the gray in the wheels.
There were ten CE Blackbirds. I have #10. It is a vert. About 5 are t-top and 5 are vert (not sure of exact breakdown). Mine was convered last September and delivered by Matt on October 13, 2008.
Here ya go. I had lost my cable from digital camera to PC long ago but I found a SD slot on my laptop. These are a few of the pictures that I took shortly after Matt delivered the car.
These are all of the pictures I had in the camera.
There were 10 made. My friends (Blackbird on this site) mother named Joyce has one of the 10. We originally thought there were 5 but the last time we were at GMMG we asked Matt and he told us there were 10. They are legit, basically a blackbird but CETA style.
EDIT: Looking at those pictures I do not think that is a real Blackbird CETA. All the GMMG cars that i have seen were always numbers in the order they were built. They stamped the engine, they put the number on the rear view mirror so you could see it from the front of the car and also I think it was on the drivers side lower part of the windshield. I do not see ANY of them. I will try to find some pictures of Joyce's and post them.

Ok here is a pick of a REAL CETA Blackbird, #5. I circled the GMMG badges and where the numbers are located...kinda hard to see but you can compare them to that other regular CETA.

Thanks PontiacFan but I realize now that someone had already kinda done that....I didn't read all of the posts because it was late. Either way it bugs me when people try to make their cars something they are not and as soon as I saw that car I had to go through my pics to find her Blackbird and compare. All Blackbird cars, CETA or regular Blackbirds had the emblems on the fenders, front bumper, and were all numbered.

I have had this guy e-mail me some pics and i noticed on the air box there was no carl black sticker ( 380 horse- 400 torque-10.5.1 comp ) he did send me the GMMG paperwork though. Who Knows. I am sceptical now.
lol... I can probably find some paperwork and mix it around a little and come up with the one and only Yenko WS6!!! It's silver and they put the chrome Z06 wheels on it as a package with billet side letters.....custom interior...etc. Get my drift?
