| 2002 Formula Firehawk - Sunset Orange - For Sale
The time has come to sell one of my favorite cars of all time. This car was my prized possession among a field of other collectible cars, even though it was the lowest priced of the bunch.
This car is 1 of 16 built. Formula Firehawk, 6-speed, sunset orange. Only 20 total SOM Formula Firehawks were ever built, only 16 of them are 6-speeds. Many would agree that it is the most desired combo for a factory LS1 Firebird ever built. With only 16 existing, you will not see them for sale very often. The car is in perfect condition inside/out. Still has the grease pencil markings on the inner fender from the SLP assembly line. If you can resist driving or modifying this car, it will pay off greatly in 15-20 yrs.
2002 Formula Firehawk #685
11,200 miles
Sunset Orange Metallic
6-speed manual w/ Hurst shifter
T-tops
Ebony cloth interior
SLP options: Firehawk floormats (new in bag) and chrome wheels
Has the SLP Blackwing airbox and dual-dual exhaust (OEM
I have the original window sticker and brochure
Modifications:
Drilled/slotted disk brake rotors (100 miles)
Hotchkis lowering springs
18" CCW SP500 wheels w/ BFG KDW2 tires (100 miles)
Everything else is 100% stock and unmolested! Car still smells brand new inside, and has always lived in a garage. No accident history. Asking $25,000 with factory chrome Firehawk wheels and new Goodyear tires. Original wheels/tires were stolen from my storage unit. I bought new OEM replacements, which are discontinued and impossible to find now.
Or, $27,000 with the CCW 18" wheels/tires and I'll keep the stock wheels/tires.
Car is located in Houston, TX.
Thanks for looking, Tony

| In all seriousness...as I said before if you sell it with the stock wheels and want to sell the CCWs seperate please PM and lets talk. Those are exactly what I am looking for for my Hawk!
I wish I could get $15K for mine (the Hawk...not the WS6) and I would put the extra with it and buy yours....SOM is of course me favorite color!
ALSO its interesting that yours has cloth seats...I was told all 02 Formula Hawks had leather. I guess that was wrong...not I wonder how many did and how many didnt??? (Its not like theres a lot of people around with them to ask!)

| I know of two other SOM Hawks that had cloth interior. I actually like the cloth better in these cars, it is more comfortable and you don't slide when cornering.

The only other 02 Formula Hawk I have seen in person had leather as well...but all the 98-01s I have seen have had cloth. The original owner told me when he ordered the car they said it had to be ordered with leather (maybe that was a late year change...what number is your car?)
Keep me in mind about those wheels!
Edit....I just seen where you said it was #685...so thats pretty late. Hell I dont know...maybe his dealer just wouldnt order it without leather.

I'm glad people offering rare 4th gens take the time to post them here, that classified section is a bottomless pit of bumping.
Anyone with a HO 1LE with low miles feel free to throw up here as well!

In case you haven't looked, we have been allowing specialty car ads in this forum recently. Why do you choose to come into MY thread and talk shit? I guess the fact that I created this site doesn't cut me any slack from assclowns?

| Yeah, that G8 crap doesn't help me want to keep this one. I used to consider the name "Firehawk" as a prized possession, top of the line RPO code Firebird.

| Wow, man! Selling the Hawk....Im with you about the way SLP has destroyed the legendary Firehawk name. Have you considered that maybe this will be the car you would end up missing and wanting back?
