We tried using message board PMs before but didn't find them to be efficient. One reason is because there are way to many message boards so PMs ended up being scattered all over the net. Kind of like having to goto 50 different post offices to pick up your mail all day long. Much better to have the post man stop by one location all day to drove off the mail. Plus, anyone here can quickly cover e-mail throughout the day. PMs could sit longer. And finally, we can fairly quickly reference past e-mail conversations here. Much more work to find that post somewhere on the net.
