| Trans Am/Firebird Replacement Sail Panel Subs NEW PRODUCT KICK OFF!!!! GP Pricing ended in April but I had alot of posts asking about these. Last page was the response. I do have these in stock again!!
Trans Am guys with blown sailpanel speakers listen up!!! I have DVC replacement subwoofer for your Monsoon sail panels that are made by Bazooka. These are a quality 6.75" subwoofer with dual 4ohm voice coils just like your stock one. These feature 100watts RMS power handling and 200watts peak power and 100db sensitivity so they will work well with the Monsoons power.
****Please note these DO require a 1/2 spacer just like the Elemental Designs subwoofer. Wiring is just like stock on the Trans Am/Firebird factory Monsoon system. I do carry a SVC 4ohm version as well for the Camaro. These are available....in stock...for $119.00 for a pair shipped inside the continental U.S.

| These are the same subwoofers that are in the Bazooka tubes and are quite reliable wiht great bass response. I have not had the opportunity to try them as my car has 8" subs in the sails. Otherwise I would have put them in already. |

| Do these need the hole drilled behind them like the Elemental Designs do?

| I compared these to a stock sub and the only mod that needs to be made to fit in the stock location is the 1/2" spacer. I will post some pics so you can see what I'm talking about. I actually am trying to find a 6.75" x 1/2" spacer that is prefabricated. I may have found one but haven't gotten it in yet to see if it is what I was looking for. If it works like I think it will I will be contacting the manufacturer for a larger order so I can put together a package for you guy that has the spacer!! |

| Hi Matt,
The only reason I carry these is for the stock Monsoon in the Firebird/TransAm. The stock Monsoon in the Firebird/TransAm has dual voice coil subs in the sail panels that produce bass only dictated by the stock Monsoon amplifier. Only 2 companies produce a dual voice coil subwoofer in a 6.5" size. Elemental designs and this one. Elemental designs were back ordered and I was digging to find a good alternative. I was able to come up with these. |

| So no hole is needed behind the speaker? I just ask because i have seen people put like a 1" hole behind their ED sub so that the air can move freely.

| As soon as i hear some reviews from someone on here, i'll def take a pair shipped to 38680.
Maybe you guys could give someone unbiased a pair for evaluation. On that note, I feel that i am the most qualified person for that task.

| I am very interested in these if the reviews sound promising and these subs turn out to be just as loud or louder than the stock ones with cleaner bass
Are these subs infinite baffle or do we need to fully enclose our sail panel locations??? I believe the elemental designs are infinite baffle and that is why you need the hole with those. Correct me if I am wrong.
