Professional Tuners School!!

RevXtreme will be hosting a professional tuners school June 21 & 22 at our Bradenton/Sarasota, FL shop. Minimum class size is 10, max is 20. This is a Sat/Sun full 2-day class with all study materials & references provided. Sat is a full day of classroom study & work on the principals of tuning on all applications, and Sun will be a full day hands-on on the dyno. We will have a wide variety of cars in the shop from stock, heads/cam, supercharged, and the 1150 HP twin turbo Z06 as well as student cars are allowed. The class includes 1 full year of unlimited email support & a good deal of phone support as well.

A demo copy of HPTuners will be provided & each student will do tuning.

Each student will need their own laptop & tuition of $850 (refundable) must be prepaid.
We will provide lunch & drinks for all attendees.

Saturday, June 21st 2008 8:30 am – 9:00 am Introduction and Breakfast 9:00 am – 9:30 am Basics of How an Engine Works 9:30 am – 10:00 am Basics of Fuel Injection 10:00 am – 12:00 pm How to Understand Your VCM Scanner Interactive use with students following along and diagnosing Pre-recorded scan files to increase knowledge. 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm Lunch (provided and catered by local restaurant) 12:30 pm – 5:00 pm How to Tune In-depth tuning process from start to finish utilizing the Tuning Checklists and the Tuning Tree. Pre-recorded tune files and equivalent scan files will be used. Saturday Evening Instructors will be available at a local restaurant for any questions you may have. Sunday, June 22nd 2008 8:30 am – 9:00 am Open Floor Discussion and Breakfast 9:00 am – 12:00 pm How to Tune (continued) 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm Lunch (provided and catered by local restaurant) 12:30 pm – 1:00 pm Drive to Rev Xtreme for Dyno Tune usage 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm Dyno Tune Instruction on Customer Vehicle From how to strap down a vehicle all the way to the final tweaks of the tune. Students will be placed into small groups and will be involved in every aspect of the tune. Additional Details You will need to bring the following to class:

Dyno Location
Rev Xtreme Sarasota, Florida Located at 2027 Whitfield Park Drive in Sarasota, Florida, Rev Xtreme has a state-of-the-art Dynojet 248x Chassis Dynamometer. We will be visiting Rev Xtreme on Sunday, 6/22 from 1pm to 5pm for instruction on how to tune using a dyno.
