We just need a car to build one in so that we can build a jig. We haven't done one since we started building jigs.

It will install just fine. But we haven't done a convertible here so i'm not sure about how it effects the top or the top mechanism.

Hey Dan, do you think the 4th gen mini tub kit will work in a 3rd gen camaro? I also want a pair of the frame mounted adjustable spring perches, 4th gens work as well?

Dave:

WE have not had a 3rd Gen F-body in the shop since we have been doing the mini tubs. So i don't have any first hand knowledge. I do know some customers have bought them to try and us in the 3rd gen, But they have not called us back and given us any information.

Our jig is not set up for bars that extend to the rear of the car. We could send striaght tubing that was notched for the main hoop, and you could cut the rear mounting location.

Why do you want the bars to extend that far back?

Wouldnt it be more structurally sound to tie in to the frame rather than sheet metal?

I may mini tub the car in the future. Would the rear bars that mount through the speakers be a problem? I don't really want to delete the speakers anyways.

I don't want to drop the tank to weld them in thats why I don't want the other style. And it seems to me it would help the chassis if it actaully tied into the frame rather than sheet metal? Is there any reason why they shouldnt be tied in that far back?

I should have access to a manual bender if I need to make the bends. Would it be any cheaper with straight bars?

Just over 2 weeks till Christmas. If you want to recieve your order by Christmas to give as a gift or to work on your car while your off work for Christmas you need to get your order in soon.

We have just about all our suspension ready to ship out right away. Weld-in Roll Bars and Roll cages are shipping about 1 week from date or order. So if you order this week, you shouldn't have an issue getting it by christmas day.

Bolt-in Roll bar are about 2 weeks to ship from date of order. So, unless we have it in stock (we have a few ready to ship) we probably can't get the bolt-in to you by christmas, but not to much after.
