Any disadvantages to using this on a street car? I have so much insulation and work done to my stock hatch to keep it from leaking, the poor struts can barely hold it open anymore because of the extra weight. Does it hold tint well?
we are getting a group buy together now for the tinted rears. we should have the specifics ready after the holidays. thanks!
do sooner you get them on the group the sooner we can order.
do you guys mind if the buyer arranges the shipping? The reason why is because i can order with with my work account and from what I've found i get a lot better price on shipping then any vendor on this board the only thing i need to find out is what freight class does this go out on?

I would imagine that if you park the car where there's ice... it'd be hard to use the defroster with it (doesn't look like it has defrosting wires. lol)... and i would imagine that an ice scraper would probably still scratch it... i'm not sure though.

lol....true. Ice usually isn't an issue in these parts and I've already got some scratches in my glass that I can't seem to get rid of. I like the idea of a tinted version lightweight version.

not to be a wise ass but if the car is sitting outside in the winter you probably shouldnt install speedglass anyways.
Why not? Is it bad for a DD or a street car? (That's kinda where the winter comment started, we just want to know)
And maybe someone without a garage wants to save 17 lbs... are you saying we should go about it another way?
