Oops that should say Mahle pistons. So, any Mahle piston the same price. Yes, it is a callies crank. The rings are what come with the power pack. We don't build an LQ9. We could, but that would be custom and not have the 20% discount thus more expensive.

I looked at your site but could not identify "rotating assemblies". Only crackshafts and rods.

Does this sale include balanced rotating assemblies?

TIA

Sounds like a good deal. I have a new LS3 sitting in a crate, waiting patiently to drop into an e36 M3.
I will be upgrading the engine over a period of time, cam, heads etc.
Taking into account its brand new, would it be worth changing the rod bolts (Are they in stock?) before I drop it in? Any other small parts worth upgrading now?

How fast will you be spinning it?
What are you using it for? Road racing? Drag racing?

I'll stick with the factory rev limit for now (6300 I think) But will ultimately want to move closer to 7000 once the cam and heads are changed. Usage will be mainly on the street with the occasional (Once or twice a month) visit to the circuit and/or strip.

If you're going to go to 7000 I would change the rod bolts. The LS3 bolts are better than the LS1 used to be, but I would still change them if I had the engine out. I would also change the pistson, heads and cam, but thats just me.

What clutch is good for a smooth, quiet daily driver? How much installed?

LS7 clutch. I can't remember off the top of my head how much the parts cost, but labor should be $450. The parts are somewhere between $500-1000.
