Default Vengeance builds 93 Camaro Big Tire/Tube Chassis with LSX 427 and LOTS of nitrous!!!

This is one of the builds currently on our plate and I thought I would post up for all to see. Our beloved customer SlowEtz sold his Pewter WS6 with a Vengeance stroker and picked up this 93 Camaro with a Big block in it... After getting some seat time he realized he missed the LS power plant and decided instead of freshening his current big block he would sell it and install an LSX. Having proven ourselves originally on his previous car SlowETz gave us the opportunity to build this combo as well.

Here are some pics of the car prior to us getting our hands on it...

Ill be posting quite a few pics of the car in its current state over the coming days... Stay tuned.

Out with the old.....

Check out the firewall... Think the owner ever smelled engine bay gases?

Lets fix that while we can

Before we install the new LSX lets apply some fresh paint to dress everything up.

Here are a few shots of the under carriage/suspension. This car was built almost 14 years ago, but everything seems to be holding its own quite well.

Intake setup consists of:

Edelbrock Super Vic Intake- Fully ported by Total Engine AirFlow(Port Matched to customer TFS 235s)
I have to give Brian @ TEA ALOT of credit here. Take a look at the pics below. There is NO transition from intake to cylinder heads. Port work is incredible. Gasket matched as well.
Accell 4150 Throttlebody with progressive linkage
NX Plate Plumbed by Dave at Nitrous Outlet for two kits. 500/500 max HP
Snapped a pic of the plate in action with a single stage

Progress Update!!!

Engine/Trans is in. Pictures below show the addition of:

  • MSD Plug Wires- Custom Fit
  • Custom Coil Brackets/Mounts
  • Radiator/stainless lines - All of this was previously on the car with the big block
  • Intake/nitrous/throttlebody
  • FAST XFI Engine Management/Harness
  • Fuel Lines/Rails/FAST Flow Matched injectors/FP Regulator
