Default C5 Z06 427 LSX/A3 Build hitting the track mid March

Im sure alot of you have seen the front page of our website with the black C5 Z06 that has run a best of 10.11@ 148mph... Well our customer got tired of dealing with the manual transmission and fighting to get the car out of the hole. It seems as if he wasnt going fast enough either as we are completely rebuilding the car with an entirely new combination. This build involves not only Vengeance Racing but quite a few other VERY high profile names as well....

All Chassis work is being completed by one of the best local chassis shops in Ga... Bell Chassis Works. Joey Bell has completed chassis for some of the fastest Outlaw 10.5 guys in racing!!!! Joey and his crew will be installing a custom 8 point cage/parachute and mount/window net/Kirkey Seats/harnesses on our customers Z06. His work should allow us to certify this Vette to 8.50 ETs... Check out his website at http://www.bellchassisworks.com/index.php

ProLine Race Engines will be building a STOUT 427 LSX shortblock for us. The shortblock will consist of:

GM LSX Block/Callies DragonSlayer Crank/Bill Miller Aluminum Rods/Diamond Custom Coated Pistons/HellFire Rings/ACL Coated Main&Rod Bearings/Billet Main Caps.

We are the exclusive dealer for ProLine Race Engine shortblocks. Check out their website at www.ProLineRaceEngines.com... If you have any questions or would like a quote feel free to contact Vengeance Racing.

Topping off this 427 LSX will be All Pro LS7 Cylinder Heads from Richard@ WCCH. These heads flow an amazing 411 cfm on the intake.Richard has been absolutely incredible to deal with and we look forward to getting these heads in our hands. You can check out West Coast Cylinder Heads at
http://www.westcoastcylinderheads.com/index.html

For an intake we chose Cary at Performance Inductions (Formerly ET Performance).... Cary has a new intake available for the LS7 heads that is an absolute work of art. Ill include a few photos below. Cary has been excellent to deal with as well. You can check out his new operation at www.perf-induction.com

We are topping off the intake with an Accell 4500 Series Throttlebody. This TB flows 2200CFM!!!!!!!!!!!

For nitrous we had a BIG name in the nitrous world step up and give total sponsorship on this build... Steve Johnson of Induction Solutions will be building us a dual Stage Direct Port capable of 1000HP worth of nitrous. Steve worked for NOS for 14 years and has also worked with Edelbrock for quite a few years as well. His expertise in the nitrous industry is untouchable. Steve has also offered to fly up during testing sessions and do anything he can to dial in the nitrous on this combo. We truly appreciate Steve jumping on board and we are definately glad to have him as part of the team. Check out Induction Solutions website at http://www.induction-solutions.com/

RPM Transmissions
will be handling all this power thru the driveline. They are building us:

Custom TH400/Adapter Plates/Torque tube/ZR1 Differential/1800HP CV Shafts

We have used RPM Transmissions exclusively for 3 years and they have NEVER let us down. Excellent crew and some of the best transmissions on the planet!! Check them out at www.RPMTransmissions.com

Suspension will come from Pfadt Racing. We have used Pfadt Racing exclusively for our Corvette suspension needs since day one!!! Pfadt will be supplying a complete coilover set using custom spring rates/Complete spherical bearing kit/solid engine mounts/solid transmission mount. Robin and Jordan are absolutely awesome to work with. Thanx for jumping on board guys(ladies )!!!!!!!!!!

Check out all Pfadt Racing products at www.PfadtRacing.com

Converter will come from Neil Chance Racing Converters!!!

Engine Management will be FAST XFI

All Installation/Wiring/Race Car Prep will be complete at Vengeance Racing.

Finally, we have Steve Petty stepping up using his experience/expertise to get this car down the track as quickly as possible. Mr Petty bases his operation out of ProLine Race Engines Facility, but he spends 6 days a week at the drag strip working with some of the quickest/fastest teams in the industry. Mr Petty and Tim Lynch have proven to be almost untouchable in Outlaw 10.5 for several years now. We are extremely excited to have Mr Petty and all of his vast experience/knowledge as part of this build as well!!!

This car should hit the track Mid March and we will post results as they come in. We are shooting to take down quite a few records this year with an indenpendent Rear End in 2009!!!

Check this thread often as I will update with pics as progress happens!!!

Thanx again to everyone who has stepped up on this build!!!!
