Ed,

have you ever tuned a car with a turbo 400 and a gear vendors? This car only made around 430 rwhp and we are thinking it should have made at least 475ish.

Im sure the stall (3k) tranny, gear vendors and 12 bolt would cause some loss, but wondering if it would be that much?

It could be every bit of that. The turbo 400 sucks up a good bit. So does the non lockup converter. That more than anything really. The GV doesn't help much. It's a good bit of rotating mass.
