Thanks LS1Tech - Fixed power window motor

I am a new poster, but I have been a long time lurker.

My power window motor on the driver's side was crapping out, and it was driving my crazy when it would get stuck half way up.

I found the instructions in the FAQ sticky, and I used the instructions at the link that said to drill access holes to get at the rivets holding the motor in place.

It took me about an hour to do the repair, and it was very easy. Now I have a fully functional driver's side window again. The new motor only cost me $30, which is a huge savings compared to what the dealer would have charged me to replace the motor.

I just want to express my appreciation to the people who post tips like this one on the messageboard.

Yep alot of issues have been covered if only people did a little reading
