| Loss to a Corolla S Had a hell of a run today after I decided to bring my car to work...normally just drive on Fridays. have this little old man that lives in my addition that has a Corolla S, and every time I drive my car in (19 miles in the country) I do not waste time...in other words I shit and get. Well it seems that each day i see this old man going to work and pass him....every time he gets on it as I try to pass and i see a little puff of smoke coming through those massive 1/4" pipes he has on that S model car.
Anyway, felt guilty today so as i came up on him i went to pass him as always...and the little puff of smoke came out as usual. I feathered the gas to make him think he was pulling me up to his limiter...think it was 77 mph. Had to fall back and then tried again with the same result...never could go around him....lol
i figure tonight he will hold his chest outright and head high as he tells his wife, and hopefully that will translate into a little heated bedroom time for him based on that extra testosterone he was able to build up....lol

| I have done that before. A couple of weeks ago i saw him well in front of me...noone was around and hit the gas going around him at 150. Not sure if the cloud of smoke came out that time but was in a different mood that day...lol

| Post from OldLimpDickCorollaS forums: So this guy I race daily decides to pick on me for the last time. I usually don't try very hard (still want to conserve fuel), but today I was just fed up with his V8 flyby's.
I did some reading on these forums (thanks guys!) and found that if I started this roll race from 3rd instead of 4th, I'd have a chance. Well guess what, it worked! I held him off not once, but twice! And to top it off I still got 31mpg!
Way to go Toyota!
I was so empowered by this I decided to ask for a raise at work. BTW, anyone hiring?

| I have had mine since 87'...original owner. 53k miles on her. Car will be going through some major aggressive/enhanced tuning soon. Has a 9.5 sec build on it but have not quite gotten the tuning there yet...been 3 years. I think we have figured it out and will shoot for a 9.9 or better in 09'. Still get 20+ mpg and is street legal.
