Default Me vs Kenne Bell lightning

Long story short...

I was driving home with a full car (3 friends in it) when i saw a black lightning fly past me. I catch up and we get a red light, light turns green and i mash it getting a good half car on him and adding, i let off around 85 with (i kid you not) about 5-6 cars. Then were cruising around 60mph, and hes a car behind me and i hear this loud ass whine as he punches it so were off again this time he keeps that gap and i begin to leave him around 110 and im putting cars on him again.

The next day my friend who was in the car with me calls me and says he found him again (they start talking) basically its a 99 lightning with a kenne bell on 10lbs w/ supporting mods. and a train horn haha. Overall im surprised i was able to beat it so easily without the bottle.

And both races were near perfect, no tires spinning or nothing. He admitted he got out done and wants a rematch when he gets a smaller pulley...thank god i have a bottle haha

Interesting, highway speeds makes sense. But still seems to be him dishonest about the power. 10psi kenne bell is good for 400rwhp and they only way 4700 pounds. I think from a dig to 130 he woudn't have no problem taking you without the bottle. From what I read, you can run 17+ on pump gas with kennebell's setup with the right tune of course. Certainly capable of 500+rwhp. But they are known for 1/4 runs do to all their torque. Hell, I've seen several here running 13.6x-13.8s bone stock. (capital raceway)

+1. I'm sure he was just talking up the L if you put that many lengths from a dig.

Either way, good kills.

Its only a 75 dry shot, but i wasn't spraying. Its a pretty quick car, i ran an 8.4 with exhaust tune and lid with a 2.1 60' in the 1/8

Ill find him and get the next couple races on video...with me on bottle this time

Glad I didn't bet on that race. Good kill. One of the coolest dynos I've witnissed was an old man that came into the shop that just wanted to make one pull to ensure his a/f was good. They strapped it in fresh off the street and said they were gonna let it cool. He then told them he wasn't interested in numbers and to "run the damn thing." With a kb and built motor, it made just a hair over 600rwhp!
