Default My Kills and Deaths lastnight

My car: 2000 A4 WS6
Mods: Lid, Longtubes, cutout, diablo tune, catback, LS6 intake, free mods, stock 3.23's

*I had a 260lb passenger with me*

1st race: 2002 Camaro SS, 4.10's, Lid, Catback, 6 speed
30 Roll: pulled 2.5 cars on him up to 130
50 Roll: pulled 1.5 cars on him up to 115

2nd race: 2002 Z28, 3.73's, Lid, Catback, Headers, A4
30 Roll: beat me by a fender up to 120

3rd race: 2008 Cobalt SS/Turbo, dont know all the mods, said to have 340rwhp
50 Roll: dead even until about 120 where he started to pull away from me barely

4th race: 2002 Silverado 1500 shortbed, Twin Turbo
30 Roll: Pulled a full car on him up to 140
40 Roll: He got the jump and held me off until about 130 where i started to run him down
50 Roll: dead even up until 130 where i pulled on him topend
I had no passenger during these runs

had i not had a 260+ passenger i could have won and pulled about a car or 2 on the turbo cobalt

had about 40+ cars with us and 2 Procharged 2006 GTs one was making 580 rwhp the other had 530rwhp and no one had enough that night to run with eather of them, all the H/C fbody guys were on empty bottles lol

*UPDATE* Video from that night http://videos.streetfire.net/video/O...sas_628250.htm
the yellow hayabusa was turbo and fast as hell

Nice kills bro. Lost to a freakin Cobalt though? Must of been one badazz four. My suggestion loose the fatass and run the Cobalt again.

+1 Really love how you posted up the race info. Very clear and easy to read. Don't get me wrong, nice dramatic race stories can be entertaining, but alot of ppl really fudge up the details in the process. You're setting a good example here NiteRider.

And good runs. Sounds like some good tight racing you had going on there.

4500 lbs, probably not ridiculous boost and after 80 mph or so, aerodynamics would hurt it.

It could be bad tuning, or low boost or something who knows. I was wondering the same thing, but I mean the OP does trap around 108-110.

the cobalt did suprise me, but like i said i noticed my car was struggling uptop with the 260lb passenger, im 215 so thats 475lbs of added weight and i had to stock ws6 wheels on while i was racing

thanks alot bro i guess i just got tired of having to read those sloppy explained stories...by looking at your sig looks like you have a badass setup on your GT, the guy that was making 580 to the wheels with the procharged 06 GT said he went 11.6@137 tractionless..does that sound about right?

i would say around 112-113, the Auto 02 Z28 that beat me by a fender ran a 12.4@112 on stock stall, 3.73's, Catback, Headers, Lid and untuned and without having the 260+ passenger i can pull on him. I ran a 12.7@110 before my Tune and LS6 intake on street tires getting that nasty one tire spin at 80mph which seems to be a common problem for fbodys around here at our strip. I just got a text from my buddy with the info on the trucks setup

I can believe it. I'm only pushing 400rwhp at 4 psi, and my car was spinning tires all the way thru the 1/8 mile marker the one time I brought it to the track. And it'll break the tires loose in 3rd gear fairly easy. I can only imagine how bad it would be if I had another 180rwhp on tap like the guy you're talking about. Of course, his centri blower setup is probably alot more managable than the twin screw I have.......since he can build power with his rpms, while my power nails me all at once the moment I stab the go peddle.

That three valve looks badazz. Is that a cogged belt? You will have your ass handed to you buy that Stang. Just my 02. I can speak from experience whether it is centrifical blower or not 440+ RWHP, traction is always an issue. I can blow off my Nitto DR's on the street at a 40mph roll.

im not sure but i can find out, and yea im sure when i get my cam and spray he will proboly still beat me, the only car that would have given him a good run didnt make it out that night...02 Z28, its a Heads,Cam(MS4) 150 shot car that traps around the same as him...and that stang sounds WICKED at idle and WOT

If he is a poor driver you may have a shot. If he needs a cogged belt on that SC he is running some major boost. I can get 22 lbs with a simple 8 rib belt. My buddy has a D1 at 22psi and he is just over 675 at the rear wheels. If your buddies car has cams (WICKED idle) and they are working well with that supercharger....thats badazz. My buddy is at 675 with stock cams.

Oh nice, yeah that makes more sense now that you beat him. Thats basically what I have on my truck minus the zo6 cam, and I only trap 108.
